Melissa is a clinically trained and licensed psychotherapist specializing in family attachment serving children, adolescents and adults. She is a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist and Supervisor. Melissa has a strong passion for connecting individuals to the people they love and long for the most. As such, she tends to prioritize couples and family systems. She has a basic belief that all human beings were born with the capacity for success and happiness and find we are the most fulfilled when deeply connected to others. Melissa has been supervising LCSW’s for over twenty years and is excited to share her experience in EFT with others. As a supervisee, Melissa recalls needing the guidance of a stronger, wiser, more experienced therapist to help her understand places that still felt confusing and harder to define. As such, she values co-regulation, increasing clarity and learning about self and others through the EFT supervision process. Melissa has special interests in working with trauma and attachment wounds and values working with supervisees who share this passion.
